Fume Incinerators
Altera Technologies Sdn. Bhd. designs and builds thermal incinerators for oxidizing the fumes from the exhaust streams of ovens. Most often, the contaminants are smoke, paint fumes, or solvents. We do not manufacture incinerators for processing solid waste.
The exhaust airstream is raised to approximately 1,400°F. through the incinerator, and held at this temperature for 0.7 to 1.0 seconds. The resultant exhaust is primarily water and carbon dioxide. We offer flow capacities of 200 to 20,000 SCFM, and destructive efficiencies up to 99%, as defined by EPA test method 25A.
Washer / Quench Tanks
Altera Technologies manufactures spray washers, dunk washers, rinse tanks, ambient quench tanks, and heated quench tanks for batch processing. We also design and manufacture spray washers (often times with multiple stages) and quench units that are used with a continuous type design.Most often, these types of equipment are provided with ovens, drop bottoms, and furnaces.
As with all of the equipment designed and manufactured by Altera Technologies, our washers and quench tanks are completely factory assembled and tested (with water) prior to shipment.

Infrared Ovens
Infrared ovens are the number one alternative for rapid, uniform results. Infrared ovens transfer heat fast for preheating and processing of products. Advantages include a clean operation, quick control response, smaller size, and a short heat-up time.
Infrared ovens are designed with SolidWorks design programs ensuring a high degree of "fit and finish", allowing all parties to thoroughly view the infrared oven design and ensure exact placement on the line.
Multi zone gas pulse technology is used throughout the infrared oven design concept, allowing for front to back and top to bottom temperature control. Control of the zones is via an intuitive PLC operator interface that is also the diagnostic center. The control system is ideal for heating heat sensitive substrates as well as traditional metal parts.

Fully reflected I.R technology is designed into the oven, ensuring the most efficient absorption of infrared by the part or coating. Multi faceted, reflective infrared oven interior focuses the I.R energy onto the part. The removable outside panels are non insulated but remain cool to the touch.
